When a new energy pioneer decides to journey where no man has gone before, they occasionally feel lonely. They are leaving behind a world in which most everyone feels incomplete, and seeks to fill up on someone or something outside themselves. The pioneer did that, numerous times, in so many lifetimes, in numerous ways, so they know that it really doesn’t work, but rather just magnifies the loneliness.
Now, as the pioneer awakens, they discover that they are whole and complete. That the loneliness is more about the human condition than about the truth that they are so much more than just human, and they are definitely not alone. They have spirit, they have their soul to keep them company. They have the love and support of their non-physical spiritual family. They have a growing global community of like-minded people. But, meanwhile, in their day to day life, they sometimes feel lost in a world of the asleep. The places they frequent consist of wonderful humans, but those humans for the most part are not aware of the pioneer’s journey. The awakening one sometimes attract others into their life from that place of loneliness. But then they realize that they are heading for some trouble if they continue. That the temporary sense of connection comes with a price.
You may be someone who likes sharing who you are with others, but now you find that if you are not discerning about who you share with, it can lead to some drama. You may miss the interaction with others, and sometimes welcome some connection, even if it’s not your first choice. That is OK. Don’t be hard on yourself. It’s challenging. And I have learned that I can’t run from the feelings of loneliness. I’m learning to invite them in, and not judge myself for feeling them. That goes a long way in transmuting them.
Being a conscious being is wonderful, but at times we feel so uncomfortable while still living in a world that is for the most part unconscious. A world in which it’s considered odd to not want to be in a relationship. Because we are empaths, we are also picking up on the loneliness of others around us, even those who are in relationships, especially if they are not recognizing their own loneliness, but instead are keeping busy avoiding it.
You are in the process of bringing spirit home, into your lives, into your bodies. Loneliness is part of the process. So is depression, anger, impatience, boredom and any other feelings that you may consider unspiritual. You are learning to allow these emotions to come and go, and therefore keeping your balance in a world that appears more and more out of balance. In a world that fills up from the outside, it takes some getting used to filling up from the inside. It takes courage to allow all the so-called dark feelings to come and go. But the master learns to use them, to alchemize them, and when you think about it, it’s just energy.
Now, having said all that, it is alright to connect with others, even those who are not yet aware on the level you are. Isolating yourself serves no one. There is a lot to be learned from others sometimes. But be aware that sometimes it’s easy to get enmeshed with someone you really didn’t intend to. You have a brilliant light, a beautiful energy, and others recognize it. But some think that getting involved with you will satisfy their hunger. Discernment is important here. Trust your feelings and if you sense your boundaries have been crossed, do what you need to do in order to get back to yourself. Whether your loneliness or theirs initiated the connection, trust your instincts every step of the way. You are learning to read beyond their words. You’ll know when it’s time to go home, metaphorically and physically.
