If you are in physical form and are reading this, I’m sure you can make a long list of things that irritate you, concern you, scare you, bore you, and anger you. It wouldn’t take too much effort would it? From physical discomforts and illnesses to perhaps financial, relationships, and just the daily challenges. Getting through traffic, dealing with the assault of bad perfumes from women at the coffee shop. And just living in a world in which the consciousness is at the level of about an adolescent. Wait, make that a third grader.
Most of us know what it feels like to co-exist with others who are still asleep. When we are connected to our expanded selves those things don’t irritate us so much. But when we’re not, they are enough to send us into a dark place.
So there are plenty of reasons to want to get the hell off the planet, all quite justified by the way. It’s easy for those who are channelled who exist on the other side of the veil to tell us that we need patience… and yes, they have deep compassion for us and honor us….but they have no idea how it feels to be here in the flesh. Even if they lived here in other times, they have forgotten how challenging it is. And on top of that being here now is entirely different, with the new energies present, which present their own challenges.
The emotional ups and downs, the mind trying to seduce us into worry and action. Even though we know better. Sometimes it feels like being in an abusive relationship with someone who enjoys berating us and controlling our every move. The mind can absolutely play that role! Telling us we are not capable of this or that. That there is danger ahead if we don’t do this or that. That we are not worthy of what our heart desires. That’s the worst. That is the most abusive. To tell us that because we are on a spiritual path, we must transcend our humanness. That spirituality and money don’t mix. That spirituality and sensuality are polar opposites. That we must ‘endure’ life here on the planet. And, as we look around we see a boatload of that, of suffering and enduring.
Yet there is something inside us growing stronger and stronger, that tells us NO! No more suffering and struggling and enduring.
Jesus himself would tell us that suffering gets you nowhere! He never claimed that he died to save anyone. Martyrdom is dead! He would be the first to tell us to take ourselves off the cross.
And we are.
Because why would we want to be here in broken down bodies? With such limited resources? It’s going to be hard enough living in a world where people barely acknowledge their own soul, and without good health and limitless resources, it hardly seems worth it.
And there could come a time with any of us where we say, I did my best to allow, to invite my soul into my life and my body, but things are just not moving fast enough. I know how to feel good now, regardless of whatever conditions I am experiencing, but even still my joy is being compromised in a body that just can’t seem to catch up to where my heart is.
And the choice to leave is honored. Absolutely. We would be welcome with open arms on the other side.
And if we decide to stay we are also deeply honored. And we have the support of many. They are there to assist us in moving into the new energy, which is the energy we created as we began the meld of human and divine.
So while there are numerous reasons to leave, there is one compelling reason to stay: To taste the joy of life here… with our soul.
