For those awakening divine humans

Having Your Cake….

A little while ago a woman next to me here at Starbucks shared some photos of an Indonesian restaurant she is going to.  I salivated as I perused all the exquisite culinary creations….prawns, shrimp, lobster, green beans, succulent and fresh.  I told her that she ruined my appetite for yet another lean cuisine awaiting the microwave.

She laughed and said the Greek restaurant right here in the plaza has some good food, and today is their special on Pitas.

So I walked over and picked up a grilled chicken pita with lettuce, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce.  I walked back to Starbucks and devoured most of it with almost embarrassing exclamations.

I was surprised at how much I was enjoying it.

For a moment I felt like I was sitting at the Platea back in Greece.  The freshly grilled chicken marinated in garlic and other spices awakened my senses.

Our human senses can be really dulled over time.  sometimes a good, spicy meal helps to awaken them.  Maybe some good Indian food.  Sometimes our bodies need that kind of stimulus.

It was the most delicious meal I have had in a long while.  I have been accustomed to daily fare consisting mostly of home-made sandwiches, frozen entrees, or eggs.

I know being single is no excuse for not eating real food.  Fresh cooked food.  And even something as simple as a pita sandwich reminded me that I need to practice what I preach.  Which is to savor things more.  To treat ourselves to good food.

So I got a dark roast refill to top off my lunch.  And they just ground some fresh beans, so it’s an extra treat.

But I don’t want to stop there.  After coffee I intend to walk over to the market and buy one of those gooey bakery desserts.  Or maybe some french vanilla ice cream.  Or both.

Our lives are like great paintings or great pieces of music. If we focus on all the technical 'imperfections' we will miss the true beauty of the work. We won't see, or rather, FEEL the essence and spirit of the masterpiece. I no longer identify myself as a writer, artist, or musician. Rather I express my divinity, and my humanity through the media of art, music and writing. I began this blog because I wanted to give voice to my experiences and insights, and I wrote for myself primarily. Almost a decade later, I am still writing for myself, and I am discovering that my experiences are not personal but universal - galactic even. And now I am more sure than ever that I am a new consciousness teacher, as each of you are. The way we teach is by going through the very human experiences, and as we ascend and shed our old selves, with love, and as we embody spirit in this lifetime, which we are all doing, we become the standards for others of the new divine human.

  1. Great fun! Food, glorious food!!! Your post is great timing. Thanks!!!

I am going to Portland this coming Friday to teach my daughter and two of her best friends how to cook a yummy curry. WE are all excited! So much fun.

Enjoying my food of one of my great pleasures in life.

    love you dearest SiSTAR!

Drinking coffee and eating cake with you in spirit.

  2. This post really resonated with me. Going through embodied enlightenment it seems that there aren’t any foods that appeal to me any more, except for a few. I often don’t get any enjoyment from eating and am often not hungry. When I do get hungry my favorite thing is to go to a restaurant that serves an all-day breakfast and order a big plate of eggs, bacon and hash browns. Yum!

    • I’m with you on the appetite thing. More and more, I have a small appetite. But now I eat for the pleasure it gives me. Not so much for the nutritional aspects. And, that’s great how you treat yourself to a hearty breakfast. That’s my idea of breakfast too. My relatives are Greek, and a few ran greasy spoon diners up north. The best coffee and home fries!

      • Currently I am transitioning to living solely off prana (breatharianism – no food consumption). Its going well. Aside from having profound effects on my spiritual state of being, I think it will also heal my MS. I think my soul has been pushing me to do this for the last few years.

        • That’s fascinating, Bruce. It makes sense that as we integrate the higher frequencies and our light body, we need less energy from outside ourselves, such as food. Many of us are eating less, not feeling as hungry. Frankly I eat more out of boredom, and just enjoying the sensuality of food. And what to eat, I just trust what my body is craving. I try not to censor its desires in the food department. As to the MS, I have complete compassion, many of us are dealing with long standing physical issues, many inherited ones. I sense as we continue to integrate, those conditions will also integrate. Anything that no longer serves us will be set free and come back to us in an integrated state. Wow, It takes so much trust doesn’t it, in this Process and in our soul….thanks for sharing with us, much love to you my friend, 🙏🦋
