I have to admit, when I am bored and want a distraction, I will sometimes check out the news, specifically the latest on the current administration. I find it ceaselessly entertaining, like a well written soap opera. I am certainly not dismissing the serious nature of the goings on, but I am detached enough from all of it to see it much more clearly for what it is: the galactic story being played out beautifully. Some people say they are not creative or expressive. But in actuality, they are expressing all the time. Perhaps not in the traditional way we know that to be, through an art form, music, writing, theatre and other forms. But being in physical is a form of expression. Our body is expressing on our behalf all the time. It expresses repressed emotions in the form of illness and imbalance. Same for our mind. And our life. Whatever we see around us in our environment, the people, the events in our personal lives, are all forms of expression, telling the story of our life. Continue reading
There is no greater motivator than fear. But we are noticing more than ever how taking action from a place of fear is counterproductive. And as we feel into the predominant energies of the planet, it is a fear-based reality. And it’s heating up. People want things to improve in their lives, they fear that their sense of security and support systems are being threatened, but at the same time, there is a fear of change. People see change – real change – as bad.
And their fears are being fed by the media, and more recently by political figures. Continue reading
Traditionally spirituality and sensuality were polar opposites. Spiritual practices for the most part didn’t involve the sensual nature of the physical body, and of life itself. In fact, the body was seen as impure, as base, and as something that just got in the way of being spiritual. It was seen as something to ‘transcend’. It seemed higher spiritual ideals did not include enjoying a sensual lifestyle! Of savoring life through all the physical senses.
